ABOUT KAYMAG OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY
Kaylene Magnay is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist and a member of Occupational Therapy Australia.

She has extensive experience in providing occupational therapy services to people with disabilities at different stages throughout their lives.

She is passionate about her role as an Occupational Therapist, working with people and their families, to provide a holistic mobile occupational therapy service.  Her goal is to encourage people to feel empowered to identify their goals and become more independent in their daily lives.

Kaylene has over 25 years of experience providing a range of services to people of all ages with a disability. She graduated from the University of Newcastle as a Registered Nurse in 1993 and then provided assistance to people with developmental disabilities and complex needs, in a range of care and community settings.

It was her passion to "empower independence"  which led her to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant and then return to university and complete a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.

Since graduating from the University of Newcastle in 2007 she has worked as an Occupational Therapist in a variety of settings both for public and private providers.

She has experience working with children and adults with developmental disability, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, neurological disorders and ageing related conditions.

In addition her experience includes complex wheelchair prescription (manual and powered), manual handling risk assessments and training.
